I am working as an Assistant Professor at Human and Natural Resources Studies Centre, Kathmandu University. My latest job was a Project Coordinator at the Aquatic Ecology Centre, School of Science, Kathmandu University. I worked as 'Young International Scientist' at the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences for a year (March 2010-February 2011). Mercury pollution in the lake sediments, water and biota are main focus of my research. My current research locations are high altitude lakes in the Nepal-Himalayas and Tibetan Plateau.
